The members of the National Minimum Wage Commission (Comisión Nacional del Salario Mínimo, CNSM) were unable to reach an agreement to fix the payments corresponding to workers that by law must be fixed for the following year. Consequently, it will now be in the hands of the President of the Republic to decide whether to maintain the same figures or to raise them.
