From a family-owned company to a global leader: the evolution of TATA Global Accessories
Founded in 1985 as a small workshop in Zone 4 in Guatemala, TATA Global Accessories has come a long way to become one of the largest manufacturers of high-quality casual and dress headbands in the world. With a clear vision of growth and sustainability, the company has integrated the artisanal expertise of its human talent and cutting-edge technology to meet global demand. Today, with almost 40 years of experience, TATA not only produces large volumes in an agile manner, but also offers complete solutions from design to efficient delivery to multiple markets. Since 2010 TATA, with a focus on technological innovation and the expansion of its production capabilities with the integration of automated machinery that allows them to streamline processes of sewing, stamping or engraving. In addition, through the creation of its own labor optimization program called “Atomic” where they include a tablet per workstation to perform measurements for each area and team member, to know the efficiency and quality in the results, per person. Commitment to Sustainability
Sustainability is a fundamental pillar of TATA’s operations. The company has implemented cleaner production practices, ranging from the selection of recycled materials, efficient use of water resources, the implementation of a rainwater recycling system, the adoption of renewable energy, the reduction of energy consumption by including LED lights in all its spaces, and a waste sorting program for recycling.

Regarding the use of raw materials and environmentally friendly processes, TATA already works part of its production using recovered or regenerated leather, also known as Bonded leather. They also work with synthetic belts using water-based materials and not solvent-based, also using recycled thread and fabrics in the sewing process. This approach not only contributes to the reduction of its carbon footprint, but has also allowed the company to differentiate itself in a market that is increasingly aware of the environmental impact of textile production.
